Looking after you heating system is very simple, most people don't though, and most of the time there is no need too either ,but unfortunately for badly installed systems or if systems have not had the correct chemicals put in this can cause boilers and heating components to work harder and break.
Example 1 You have had an extra rad fitted a few years ago and the system had been drained
Example 2 You have had a leak and the system had to be drained down
Example 3 You have always had poor performance and a noisy system
In most cases a good engineer should have informed you that chemicals have been added but this is not always the case.
